    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Central Sterile Reprocessing (CSR) Instrument Coordinator manages and administers scope (rigid and flexible) and instrumentation inventory for the UVM Medical Centers CSR Department. Leveraging extensive knowledge of instrumentation, regulatory requirements and in coordination with department leadership and supported services, this position functions as the leader and subject matter expert for instrumentation, scope, implant and loaner inventory. With a high degree of internal visibility, key responsibilities include: instrument inventory sourcing/addition/replacement, maintaining databases for instrument management (including SPM, EPIC and Optime feed, and Case Check), administration of repair and loaner programs, supporting management of implants, and providing a centralized point of contact for internal and external customers, Surgeons, Doctors, service providers and sales representatives for technical support. The CSR Instrumentation Coordinator may be called upon for operational support as needed to include performing shift coordinator duties in the absence of shift supervision.

    EDUCATION:

    Associates degree or equivalent experience in health care administration, supply chain or other relevant field preferred. CRCST, CER and CIS required and maintained annually.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum (15) years experience in an area related to Central Sterile Reprocessing with demonstrated experience in hospital instrumentation management and repair
