Responsibilities:

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

DESCRIPTION:

• Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis between plan or prior year vs actual numbers to give an overall over-performance or under-performance, identify trends for recommended improvements
• Ensures all financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform financial forecasting for certain areas of the business
• Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational decisions.
• Maintain and continuously improve current financial planning and reporting systems.
• Create and automate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis for management.
• Strong data mining experience in structured and unstructured data (SAP BW, SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets.
• Work to continually improve processes and performance to drive results.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred
• 1-2 years of data mining and analysis experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills required.
• Knowledge of SAP, BW, Essbase/HFM preferred.
• Tableau experience preferred.
• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to multi task and prioritize.
• Strong, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, as well as other departments and senior management.
