    Sanitation Supervisor

    As a Sanitation Supervisor for Aspire Bakeries, you will be responsible for leading a team of sanitation workers to ensure that the production areas and equipment are clean and safe. You will also manage the sanitation budget, inventory, schedules, and programs, and work closely with the FSQA Department to comply with the environmental program.     Responsibilities:

    • Schedule staff to ensure that business needs are met on each shift.
    • Manage team hours within allotted budgeted hours
    • Prioritize tasks to ensure that plant cleaning requirements are fulfilled
    • Oversee clean-up activities of equipment and facilities in all production areas.
    • Implement excellent sanitation practices which support the companys processes and procedures ensuring the highest quality products are produced in a thoroughly clean environment
    • Perform regular inventories of sanitation chemicals and non-chemical supplies.
    • Maintain Cleaning schedules on all sanitation equipment.
    • Manage department performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the manager.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required
    • Manage Sanitation Department programs (SSOPs, Master Cleaning Schedule, Chemical Control, Pest Control, Record Keeping) to ensure compliance with Aryzta, Regulatory, and customer requirements.
    • Develop Root Cause Analysis for out-of-spec failures in cleaning measuring tools such as ATP, environmental swabs, and Pre-op inspections.
    • Work closely with the FSQA Department to ensure compliance with the environmental program (16.0 Program).
    • Perform other duties and participate in other projects as assigned or required.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate degree in a science-related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 3 years of sanitation Supervisory experience within the food industry
    • 3-5 years of food processing sanitation experience including leadership experience
    • SAP, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook helpful

    Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
