The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services will use their comprehensive clinical and managerial expertise to support and grow the active service line with 11 ORs. In this comprehensive role, the RN Director of Inpatient Surgery will also oversee Pre-op, PACU, and the Cath Lab. The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services has 5 direct reports and will manage a strong team of 80+ staff including Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, and other support staff. The ideal candidate is experienced with Periop 101 and AORN standards. In addition to operational and budgetary duties, the RN Director of Inpatient Surgery is responsible for shaping the long-term vision of the assigned departments and promoting innovative patient care.
