    Job Summary

    • The Patient Care Technician performs duties related to patient care under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse.
    • The Patient Care Technician are responsible for clerical duties as well.

    Education and/or Experience

    • High school graduate or GED is preferred.
    • Must be 16 or older.
    • Previous work in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.

    Certification/Licensure/Registrations

    • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) registry preferred but not required.
    • BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.
    • Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) within one year of employment is required.
    • Certification requirements to be maintained while working in department.

    Work Schedule

    • Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
      • Day shifts

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

    • $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
