Job Summary

Responsible for expeditious and accurate performance of routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions. This position will be required to be trained and scheduled at Avera Specialty Hospital Laboratory. Must be flexible and able to adjust to the daily staffing needs of the listed laboratories.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree in MLT or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP or AMT required within 12 months of hire.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $22.00 - $31.75 per hour
