This health system is ranked one of the top in the nation, and has hospitals throughout the state of North Carolina. This hospital is located in a metropolitan area of North Carolina, and has over 650 patient beds. This hospital provides a wide range of service to it's patients including women's services, behavioral health, sports medicine, pain management, neurology, cancer care, and cardiovascular care.

The Nurse Supervisor will be part of a 32 bed unit. The Cardiac Stepdown unit specializes in the care of the cardiac and vascular
surgical patients, the structural heart patients, cardiac medical patients, and patients requiring the titration ofinotropes andvasopressors while meeting the quality metrics that support Magnet designation. Nurses in this unit have quick access to cardiac surgery APPs, floor assigned pharmacists, multidisciplinary support through daily rounds, and a consistent case management team that follows surgical patients from surgery to discharge evaluating discharge needs daily. The Nurse Supervisor will serve as a team lead in theCardiac StepdownUnit and provide leadership, education, oversight, and training to nurses in unit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSNrequired
• Minimum of 2 years working as a licensed RN
• Charge Nurse or Supervisor experiencepreferred
• Certification in sub-specialty required
