A non-profit health system in North Carolina is actively seeking Labor Delivery Registered Nurses to join their night-shift team. These are full-time, permanent positions where the Labor Delivery Registered Nursewill be a direct-hire employee for one of a nationally recognized health system.

The Registered Nurse Labor Delivery will work for a 500+ bed acute care hospital known for their womens care, surgical services, sleep disorders, emergency department, and newly renovated cancer center.

Responsibilities of the Labor Delivery Registered Nurse will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Labor & Delivery department. Additionally, the Labor Delivery Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.

Ideally, the Labor and Delivery nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their North Carolina or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 2 years of direct patient care experience working in a Labor Delivery or Mother Baby department.
