Business Development Specialist
Do you enjoy going out to meet new people and solve complex business problems? Our firm is hiring an energetic salesperson to grow our customer base in the local market
Essential Tasks
Make outbound calls to local companies to raise brand awareness and generate interest in our staffing services.
Perform cold visits to companies in the region to build schedule meetings with prospective customers.
Document details of each call in our CRM.
Meet weekly with our Business Development Manager to identify targets within the sales pipeline and appropriately adjust strategies based upon effectiveness of campaigns.
Occasionally assist with the operational duties in the office.
Organize and orchestrate quarterly sales campaigns.
In-office training is available to prepare you for success.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Ideal candidate will have prior experience performing high-volume outbound calls.
Possess a basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing work environments is a plus.
Knowledge of local Wake and Johnston County geography is important.
Basic understanding of the staffing industry is a plus.
