Industrial Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME

$39/hr

- Work on a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks.

- Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently

- Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery

- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems and work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives, electrical equipment/systems and control circuits, 3 Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC)

- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in our safety program

- Be responsible for timely and accurate paperwork.

Schedule

Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
Must be available to work weekends and Overtime

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 25 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Strong working knowledge of mechanical gearboxes, timing, alignment, etc.
Strong working knowledge of conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other components.
The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
The ability to reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.
Basic understanding and application of precision maintenance.
Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
Advanced knowledge of shop tools (welding equipment, bandsaws, drill presses, hydraulic presses, etc.)
Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical and preferred electrical background
Corrugated/Box maintenance experience a plus but not required
