Our client, an industry leader in automation, is seeking direct hire Plant Electricianto join their team. As a Plant Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenancesupporting the production team building parts for the oil field industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Plant Electrician

Location: Sherman, TX

Pay Range: $22.29 to $33.02/hr

Whats the Job?

• Responsible for all electrical services at the plant.
  
• Fully plans and installs 120/240/480-volt electrical services which conform to city and NEC codes.
  
• Responsible for other maintenance duties such as LAN installations, phone lines, plumbing repairs, and the repair of electrical/mechanical devices including but not limited to: production machines, assembly test equipment, boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
  

Whats Needed?

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Two-year technical degree focused on the repair of electrical, mechanical, telecommunications or network installations.
  
• Proof of active journeyman's electrical license for Grayson County required.
  
• Must be currently qualified for and have minimum of two years hands on experience in 120/240/480 electrical installations.
  
• Demonstrate knowledge in the following areas: HVAC systems, telecommunications, electrical circuits, mechanical systems, air compressors and hydraulics, PLC basics, OSHA regulations, and test equipment like megameters, digital multimeters, mechanical gauges, and indicators.
