    CORRUGATOR CLAMP Truck / UTILITY Position

    Pay-Benefits:
    • Clamp truck pay from $23.39
    • Utility Pay Range from $22.82 - $26.40

    PCA Arlington- Plant - 314 is an upcoming state of the Art facility with the latest machines and technology.
    • Plant machines include a New full line BWP corrugator, fully automated Harmax roll feeding system, new fully robotic flexo folder gluer and a state-of-the-art diecutter.
    CORRUGATOR- Clamp Truck Operator
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Unloading of roll stock from rail cars and or trucks as needed & periodically cover warehouse position.
    2. Keep the corrugator supplied with roll stock as needed
    3. Make sure butt rolls are supplied before full rolls are pull
    4. To make sure and not upgrade paper or use oversize roll of any kind unless pre-approved by supervision.
    5. Monitor lineal footage of the runs and have the next paper change stage at the corrugator .
    6. Driver must fill out the Roll Stock tracking worksheets provide by planning department to provide traceability of roll stock to run sheets and run sequences.
    7. Consume daily roll stock tickets from computer inventory system as time permits.
    8. Verify and return to roll room only those butt rolls identified with date, shift grade width and size.
    9. Assist as needed in other areas to keep corrugator running and meet daily goals.
    10. Opportunities to develop into other roles are available.
    CORRUGATOR- UTILITY
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Entry level position that will allow you to learn both sides of the machine
    • Learn basics of corrugated from safety, quality and production responsibilities
    • Assist wet end crews for rotations
    • Assist dry end crews for rotation
    • Utilized for Pm's and cleanups
    • Assist as needed learning all areas of the machine
    • Many opportunities for advancement on the machine and other areas in the plant
    Work as part of a high-performance team to support our manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
    Position requires assisting all jobs on the corrugator.

    Future development
    • Arlington has a lot of opportunities for growth and development. We are looking for high caliper individuals that are self-driven and team oriented. Future opportunities are available as the plant grows. Also, additional opportunities in nearby PCA locations here in Texas and across the US. 'PCA provides paid, in house and external training to help technicians advance and achieve higher pay'

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    High School Graduate or GED

    Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.

    Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

    Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.

    Excellent communication skills.

    Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

    Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
