    Director, Patient Experience

    The Director Patient Experience is responsible for driving and fostering a culture of service excellence with the goal of improving the patient and family experience and increasing patient satisfaction results and will support the commitment to transform the patient and family experience and will lead multidisciplinary teams to improve patient satisfaction in the hospital and in the outpatient facilities.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Understanding the needs and perspectives of patients and will collaborate with system initiatives for successful patient-experience improvement actions at Jersey City Medical Center
    • Manage initiatives to ensure success
    • Serve as a lead in obtaining current patient satisfaction performance data, providing actionable analysis, providing related presentations and communications as needed throughout the organization
    • Align local patient experience work to the RWJBH mission, values and business goals
    • Work collaboratively with facility and system Patient Experience leadership to develop and execute patient experience and patient engagement initiatives, including optimal utilization of resources and service delivery, in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations supportive of patient-centered standards of care and best practices
    • This position will report to the Vice President Quality, Safety & Regulatory at Jersey City Medical Center

    Job Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in Patient Experience/Patient Satisfaction in the acute care setting
    • Bachelor s Degree in Nursing, or other clinical domain required
    • Master s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health or related field strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated success in leading hospital-wide process-improvement initiatives in the acute care setting
    • Comprehensive understanding of Patient Experience improvement initiatives including working knowledge of related software and analytics
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Press Ganey and HCAHPS with ability to build and maintain a successful operating infrastructure of data abstraction, actionable reports, data analysis and trending
    • Demonstrated experience successfully collaborating with clinical teams and clinical leaders in various healthcare settings
    • Experience with professional presentations at leadership and staff levels within the acute care setting,

    Salary Information:

    • $115,000-$140,000annual base salary
