As the RN Emergency Department Manager, you will be a vital component of a 100+ bed facility that offers a wide variety of care such as surgical services, emergency care, family medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, and so much more! This hospital is part of a greater health system that has multiple locations and facilities in the Chicago area, offering lots of opportunity for professional growth.

With an experienced Emergency Services Nursing support staff working under them, the ED Nurse Manager will have the proper resources necessary to ensure that the Emergency Department is operating at the highest level and all goals of the department are being met. The RN Manager Emergency Department will report directly to the Director of Emergency Services and will collaborate with them on unit goals and initiatives.

As the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative and clinical operations, aiding with development of department budgets, staffing and hiring, developing and implementing departmental procedures, and monitoring and evaluating staff performance. The Emergency RN Manager will be an experienced nursing leader in acute care hospital emergency services speciality.
