Tax Analyst
Our client, a premier Racine Manufacturer, is seeking a Tax and Accounting Professionalto join their dynamic tax team! Gather the requested compliance information needed for the external firm that files the company tax returns.The ideal candidate is a team player who has a strong GAAP Accounting background, experienced in Tax Support,good understanding and experience in ASC 740 and experienced withOneSource and/or Corptax software. This individual must be a quick study and able to hit the ground running!
Title:Tax AnalystLocation:Racine, WI -HYBRID(3 days Onsite / 2 days Offsite)
Pay Rate:$35-$40per hour(depending on level of experience)
Responsibilities for Tax Analyst:- Gather the requested compliance information needed for the external firm that files thecompany US & Canadian Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes returns.
- ?????File the state Annual reports for 10 plus US Companies, several of which are registered in all states.
- Track andreconcile theGlobal tax department budget monthly by region.
- Gather information and assist in preparing US and Canada Research Credit.
- Support theState Income tax departments compliance process with storing all filed state and local income tax filings. Gather all support needed to ensure matching of the information the IRS reflects in their records for all the parties the companywill be remitting Form 1099s. Prepare LIFO calculation, prepare FBAR filings, Support Form 5471/5472 filings.
Requirements:Minimum of an Associate degree in accounting Bachelors degree preferred
Good understanding and experience in ASC 740 plus 4 years in a large corporate environment(Required)
-Must understand accrual accounting (Required)
Strong proficiency in Excel is a must. Knowledgeof Tax Accounting software systems such as Onesource, Corptax is a plus. Experienced in SAP is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work on cross-functional teams and effectively communicate in a large, international, matrix organization.Benefits:
