Systems Engineer II
Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA
Telework: Hybrid telework (requires you to live within a driveable distance to Fredericksburg, VA)
Clearance: Interim Secret (US Citizenship Required)
Experience: Mid-Level (3 years relevent work experience)

SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a mid-level Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering Support for Navy Integrated Warfare Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support integration and testing of software applications with military simulations, virtualized environments, and operational systems.
- Analyze software performance and features, document issues, and support subsequent design and development efforts.
- Support the training and testing of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for military applications.
- Provide systems engineering support for software applications integrating with tactical systems.
- Develop system and software architectures to support force-level effects coordination across military assets and integrated warfare systems.
- Provide system engineering analysis and documentation during system design, development, and test activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing systems engineering processes, techniques, and procedures in the development of Navy systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience:??
- Software development experienc
- Knowledge of model-based systems engineering tools such as MagicDraw
- Naval Air and Surface Warfare Combat Systems familiarity
- Tactical Data Link Operations
Education:??B.S. Degree in ABET recognized engineering curriculum OR in physical science, engineering, or math that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Travel: Potential for travel as needed to testing sites and Dahlgren Naval Base.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidates experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
