Mental Health Counselor Role Summary:
As an onsite Mental Health Counselor, you will build a trusted relationship with personnel through individual and group sessions, along with ongoing wellness programs. These initiatives are specifically crafted to enhance resilience and minimize the impact of exposure to disturbing content.

What youll be doing as a Mental Health Counselor, LCSW, or LMFT:
- Conduct scheduled and on-demand one-on-one counseling sessions.
- Manage client requests for services by providing information and scheduling appointments.
- Record intake case information in the Care Management System.
- Deliver short-term, brief well-being, and/or therapeutic interventions.
- Provide consultation, recommendations, referrals, and appropriate assistance.
- Lead wellness and group therapy sessions.
- Facilitate group wellness activities, including peer group support, team-building sessions, and other engagement events.
- Implement creative group intervention practices, such as guided mindfulness meditation and mindful movement.
- Assess crisis situations and take appropriate action using your knowledge and expertise as aLCSW, LMFT, or marriage & family therapist.
- Consult with client leadership regarding concerns about employee safety or workplace behavior.
- Conduct new hire check-in sessions and support offboarding of team members.

Experience Required for Your Success
Whats Required for Your Success
- Education: A Masters degree in a behavioral health discipline required (ex: social work, counseling, or related human service field such asLCSW, or marriage & family therapy (LMFT)
- Professional License: State License (Professional Counselor, Marital/Family Therapist, Social Work, LCSW)
- A minimum of three years graduate level experience, providing direct service in a behavioral health setting including assessment and case management.
- A combination of graduate and bachelors level experience including behavioral healthcare. Other experience will be considered such as: LCSW, marriage and family therapy, work withOccupational health or a community healthcare system.
- English language proficiency is required.
