This 200+ bed short term acute care hospital and designated Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center offers a broad range of medical services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: 24-hour emergency and trauma care, advanced inpatient and outpatient surgical services, oncology services, clinical research, primary care, and much more. This healthcare organization has also been accredited by The Joint Commission and is a recognized teaching hospital with a large number of full-time residents on staff.

TheHospital Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate a broad spectrum of patients requiring psychiatric care. The Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner NP will work autonomously to determine the best plan of care, providing individualized treatment to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations. The Behavioral Health NP will coordinate and facilitate ongoing mental health care and services, providing psychopharmacology, patient medication monitoring, behavioral assessments, patient education, and information on community health resources. The NP will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team and Medical Director, ensuring optimal patient care outcomes.

Requirements for both roles will include:MSNDegree, Professional Registered NursingLicensure, and previous behavioral health nursing experience.
