    JOB SUMMARY

    Perform tasks necessary to remove cores from castings.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Conduct specific gravity check.
    • Log gravity results.
    • Start and stop cycle of autoclave to remove core.
    • Check pH for all liquids going down drain.
    • Fill and dump all caustic and water.
    • Lift and carry baskets above and around caustic tanks.
    • Log results.
    • Rinse off castings using pressure washer.
    • Clean all tanks inside and outside of tanks.
    • Test caustic


    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Education: High school diploma not required
    • Experience: No prior experience required
    • Certifications/Licenses: None
    • Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Read. Write legibly. Ability to process new information. Basic computer skills. Reasoning ability. Good verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Detail oriented. Accurate. Safety conscious. Team oriented. Sense of urgency.


    WORKING ENVIRONMENT


    • Working Environment: Factory floor area working with caustic and fumes
    • Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
    • Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
    • Shoes/Boots: Steel toed.
