    About the unit

    Located at Bridgewater place, 333 Bridge Street NW, Corewell Health offers comprehensive employee health and wellness services to help keep you or your workplace safe, healthy and productive. This team works with our new employees as they begin their career journey with Corewell Health. This team welcomes new hires and provides lab draws, vaccines, respiratory fit testing, and other admin duties as needed.

    About Outpatient Clinics

    Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

    Scope of work

    Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

    Qualifications

    • Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
    • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) Preferred
    • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
    • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
    • 1 year of experience as an RN Preferred
