CNC Machinist
Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $18.50/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5am-3pm

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision metal components according to specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance and conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to determine machining requirements
- Evaluate material stock and select appropriate cutting tools and machining techniques for each job
- Adjust machine settings, including speeds and feed rates, to ensure accurate and efficient production
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control and identify any deviations or malfunctions
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products for quality assurance and conformance to specifications
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output and machine maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional technical certification or a relevant degree is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred operating and programming CNC machines in a metal manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and Computer-aided design (CAD) designs
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials
- Familiarity with programming languages such as G-code and M-code
- Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on maintaining quality standards
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50lbs, and operate machinery in a safe manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding manufacturing environment
