    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Ophthalmology - (OPTH)

    • Base salary:Up to $315K negotiable
    • Sign on:Up to$20K negotiable.
    • CME:$5K with allotted days off
    • Relocation: $5K
    • Pension and 403b:
      • Employer will contribute 12% of your annual salary vested 3 years.
    • Paid Time Off
      • 42 days off =3 weeks plus 12 holidays plus 15sick days year one, 4 weeks plus 12 holidays plus 15sick days year two. Days accrue with tenure.

    • Malpractice and tail are 100% covered.
    • Loan Repayment:Through NY State
    RESPONSIBILITIES AND FACILITY DETAILS Ophthalmology - (OPTH)
    • 100-200 patients/week
    • 75% Glaucoma; 25% General (including Cataract)
    • Call: 1 week rotation with all other providers
    • Experience in clinical, translational, or basic research.
    • Department Staff consists of 2 Ophthalmologists, Technicians, Surgical Coordinators, Nurse Practitioner, Research Coordinator, Front Desk and Administrative support.
    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Ophthalmology - (OPTH)
    • Board Eligible (with intent to sit) or Board Certified
    • Completed fellowship training in Glaucoma.
