Experience:

18 months of Emergency Department experience is required.

3 months of travel experience is required.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Shifts: Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. May float to other PresNow sites (Coors, Isleta, Paseo). Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.

Experience current required in large ED/Urgent Care. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.

BLS completed through American Health and Safety accepted.

ACLS and PALS completed through American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross accepted.

Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility.

Travelers must not have been an employee of any healthcare facility located within the Albuquerque Metropolitan area within the past year in order to be considered for a position.
