TheSurgical Services Assistant Nurse Managewill report to the Nursing Manager ofPerioperativeServices and will lead a tenured team of healthcare professionals at an 180+ bed medical center which has receivedrecognition for it's excellence i quality. Supported directly by multiple Charge Nurses and a Clinical Educator the Assistant Nurse Manager will play a vital role in leading clinical operations for this department.

TheSurgical Services Assistant Nurse Manager will help lead a busy inpatient surgical department which offers procedures to treat a wide variety of cases including orthopedics, trauma and general surgery. This team of front-line caregivers, made up of Operating Room Nurses, Surgical Techs, and Board Certified Surgeons all play a vital role in ensuring this unit runs smoothly.TheSurgical Services Assistant Nurse Managerwill work to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This Nurse Leader will be responsible for the smooth operation of multipleoperating rooms and make sure that their team is running efficiently.
