Job Summary and Qualifications

The OR Tech II is a non-licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under thedirect supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient carewithin the C/S and /or operating room suite

• You will assist with surgical procedures in scrub duties
• You will assist in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel
• You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients
• You will perform all related duties as assigned and directed
• You will facilitate the provision of individualized patient care

What qualifications you will need:

• High School graduate required or equivalent, college prepared preferred
• Completion of OR Tech course from an accredited school
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
• Current BLS certification
• 1-year of OR Tech experience required.
• Able to perform 80% of procedures
• Participate in an administrative approved project, with at least one of those projects being an employee identified project
