    Position Summary:
    We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Supply Chain Management Analyst.

    In this role, the successful candidate for the Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst position is responsible for supporting the various ongoing and future projects of supply chain management in collaboration with Sourcing and Value Analysis through data analytics and reporting. The Senior Supply Chain Management Analyst is responsible for soliciting and collecting business requirements from users in order to transform data into actionable business intelligence through reporting and analyses.
    Tools used include Excel, SQL and Tableau. The senior data analyst will lead the data management governance ensuring accurate data and pricing. They will also utilize financial impact analysis process based on different price points and usage; landscape analysis based on various categories and sub-categories; pull purchase order history based on provided criteria; pull EPIC data to understand physician level product utilization; utilize workflows to combine repetitive tasks, through a repeatable process (either through Excel, or Tableau). The senior data analyst will be expected to collaborate with other SCM teams and end-users and lead any additional analysis work as defined by the department.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1

    Lead the financial impact analysis process based on pricing, usage, and benchmark data.

    Create and implement data management best practices to ensure the integrity of the data, quality of data processes, and deliver actionable business intelligence to various internal and external parties.

    Create reports based on business needs for sourcing, value analysis, procurement, logistics, and other departments as needed.

    Collaborate with users to solicit feedback on the reporting process for continuous improvement.

    Lead the landscape analysis process based on various product categories.

    Sub-categorization of the most commonly used products as per end user needs.

    Lead the lookback process to ensure contract compliance and coordinate with sourcing and/or VA.

    Review and analyze various market share scenarios by comparing different price tiers and evaluating supplier market share.

    Lead the rebate analysis process.

    • Lead, develop and perform other duties and analyses as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of analytics experience. At least 3-5 years of experience in health care, supply chain or with medical supply categorization. Strong experience and expertise in Microsoft Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table, and Descriptive analytics). Has a high level of accountability, inquisitive in nature, self-starter, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with SQL and Tableau (Desktop/Prep), Group Purchasing Organizations, Oracle PeopleSoft, and any other supply chain management technologies are preferred. Work done within a healthcare supply chain specifically is also preferred. Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross-functional teams and with external partners. Project management experience preferred, as lead or a member. Experience working in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.

    NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.83 - $111,168.06 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
