Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

Required experience: Must have prior CV critical care experience. Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.

Primary patient population is CV surgery and vascular surgery to include open heart surgery (CABG, AVR, MVR, Bentall, TAVR, etc), thoracic lung surgery (lobectomy, thoracotomy, etc.), esophagogastrectomy, AAA (open and endovascular), fem-pop bypass, carotid endarterectomies. We also receive overflow medical cardiology patients with diagnoses of heart failure, DKA, chest pain, sepsis, heart block, etc.

Preferred experience: Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year. CVICU experience.

Floating: Any SD (1:5 ratios) or MS (1:6-7 ratios) unit, ER inpatient holding area (1:6).

Scrub Color/Attire: All navy, white tops/navy bottoms, or all white.

Weekends and On call: No call. Weekend requirements minimum 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6 week schedule period. Flexible to work Holiday.

This is an Auto Offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.
