CNC Machinist (4day/10hour Shifts) $30 P/H

What will you be doing?

• Can operate and setup CNC 3 Axis Mills and/or Lathes. (Emphasis on Lathe knowledge and capability.
  
• Can grind and sharpen tools (Endmills, drills, lathe tools, etc.)
  
• Can decipher and edit Fanuc G code programs.
  
• Able to perform First Article Inspections and 'Buy Offs'
  
• Able to check parts and record measurements using micrometers and clippers / In-process inspection.
  
• An understanding of how to read drawings, product requirements on the traveler and how to identify critical characteristics.
  
• Deburr parts while machine is running.
  
• Responsible for daily maintenance on production equipment, maintaining a clean working environment, ensuring the foreign objects are not mixed with conforming parts.
  
• Responsible for following all procedures for production and how to conduct in process inspection of parts and identifying and segregating non conforming product.
  
• An understanding of all tool crib operations(returning tooling used for production)
  
• Inherits all responsibilities and authorities of subordinates.
  

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
  
• Degree or certificate in machining technology or related discipline preferred but not required.
  
• 8-10 years experience in high precision set-ups preferred.
  
• Capable interpreting drawings per ASME Y 14.5m-1194 & GD&T a big plus!!!
  
• Fanuc G code programming.
  
• Must be able to lift parts max 50lbs.
  
• Conduct operation first article inspections.
