Overview:

This position has responsibility for management and leadership oversight of Inpatient Care Management. Outstanding performance is driven by this person's ability to ensure managers and co-workers understand the vision, goals, and performance standards of Mercy Care Management as they relate to the quality, safety, andfinancial expectations of Mercy and the patients being served. Partnering with Care Management and individual facility leadership, this person will rely heavily on consistent and effectivecommunication techniques to achieve performance targets and ensures compliance in allrequired areas. This leader will make certain that managers and co-workers are supported through appropriate training and ongoing education. The Director provides the necessary leadership to ensure that co-worker engagement is a routine management priority. All duties and responsibilities will be carried out consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing Science or Master's in Social Work.

Licensure

RN or LMSW/LCSW

Experience

3 years experience in nursing case management or inpatient social work
