    Software Quality Assurance Lead

    Position Summary:

    As the Software QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be leading projects and collaborating closely with the onshore and offshore QA team teams to identify and address defects, implement best practices, and improve overall software quality.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications.
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Engineers to guarantee thorough end-to-end functionality testing.
    • Conduct detailed testing of all aspects, including database, API, user interface, and any interconnected systems.
    • Manage test planning, case/script review, creation, and execution.
    • Work on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments and on multiple programs/systems as a test lead.
    • Direct projects effectively, working with both onshore and offshore teams.
    • Become the subject matter expert for a specific program/system.
    • Guide a team through strategic delegation, training, and motivational leadership.
    • Deliver quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
    • Analyze requirement documents to design comprehensive test cases using various techniques.
    • Work closely with the Development team to understand design documents and collaborate with designers to resolve any ambiguities.
    • Manage offshore team operations, including updates, clarifications, status reports, and addressing roadblocks.
    • Deliver daily progress reports to all project stakeholders.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate any project risks.
    • Participate actively in Stand-Up calls.
    • Engage with external teams such as PMO, Development, and Business Analysis.
    • Plan daily tasks and assign them to team members efficiently.

    Qualifications and Competencies Required:

    Experience

    • 5 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance; Auto Finance Industry experience preferred.
    • Experience in leading projects with both onshore and offshore teams.
    • Experience in writing project reports, test plans, and detailed test
    • Experience with tracking multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be self sufficient and own projects from initial start to deployment.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Possess technical ability combined with outstanding customer service skills.
    • Additional hours may be required over 40 hours per week

    Education

    • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.

    Qualifications Preferred:

    • Proficient in QA processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Test Rail, ALM).
    • Strong knowledge in Salesforce, Postman, SQL, Genesys IVR, and MuleSoft is preferred
    • Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology.
    • Competent in writing project reports, test plans, and detailed test cases
    • Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in delivering quality process training and serving as an internal consultant.
    • Strong self-management skills and a detail-oriented approach.
    • Technical ability combined with outstanding customer service skills.
