Position: Emergency Service Specialist III (EMT-P)

Department: Emergency Brigade Service

Shift: Full-Time, 24hr Shifts

Overview:

Responds to life safety emergencies, providing rescue, pre-hospital medical care, fire prevention, protection, and suppression. Provides pre-hospital care in accordance with Oklahoma State Department of Health EMS Regulations and department protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of Paramedic program. Completion of fire training.
• Licensure: Oklahoma EMT-Paramedic license. Valid drivers license, good driving record that is insurable.
• Certifications: National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as Paramedic. CPR certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Other: Must be physically fit and able to pass medical exam and physical ability test. Radio communication skills essential. Must be able to interact with outside agencies such as law enforcement and recieving hospitals. Must be able to operate emergency vehicles safely. Maintain currency in Emergency Vehicle Operators Course. Must be able to interact effectively with all public and/or corporate businesses and their management and
