    Cybersecurity Engineer III

    Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA
    Telework: Hybrid telework (mix between on site and telework)
    Clearance: Active Secret (US Citizenship Required)
    Experience: 5 Years professional work experience + minimum IAT Level II

The right candidate will perform cybersecurity related analysis of connectivity relationships between the subject US Naval warfare system and the equipment to which it interfaces.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform element analysis and risk analysis for combat system element integration
    • Support the System/Software Review Board (SRB), Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB), Systems Engineering Team, and Integrated Product Team (IPT)
    • Support development of Element Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA)
    • Generate and collect artifacts
    • Perform cyber trouble report analysis and generate reports
    • Review and analysis of Software Implementation Requests (SIRs)
    • Review and analysis of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
    • Respond to Program data calls
    • Support Red/Blue Team test planning and execution
    • Provide Cyber Table Top (CTT) support
    • Support shipboard cyber systems (tools) configuration
    • Support for Red Seal/forensics
    • Support Cybersafe/certification/criticality analysis/degradation analysis

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience
    • Minimum IAT Level II
    • Possess understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, and DoD IA policies
    • Strong ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations

    Preferred Skills & Experience:??

    • Cyber engineering experience

    Education:??A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is preferred

    Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

    Travel: 15%

    Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidates experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

    The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
