    Executive Chef 2

    Unit Description:

    Sodexo is seeking to hire an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at the Black Knight in downtown Jacksonville, FL.

    The current food landscape consists of 2 Corporate Cafes, Catering Operations, Pantries and Vending.

    The Executive Chef 2 duties will include, but not limited to:

    • Overseeing the culinary operation for 2 cafes
    • Hands on working chef role; approximately 75% hands on
    • Menu planning
    • Ordering
    • Inventory
    • Ensuring pantries are stocked
    • Being the point of contact for any problems with Vending
    • Managing food and labor cost
    • Managing a team of 10 hourly employees.

    Ideal candidate must have top notch culinary ability and be a true leader. The ability to lead and grow your team is a must. Highly organized and self driven individuals are needed for this key role in a strategic account.

    This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefitsbeginningdate of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Basic Education Requirement -Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
