We are an established team who support Custom Border Protection (CBP) at Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD) to help them accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.

We would like to add a Senior Java developer (5+ years' experience) to our team

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
• Experienceusing Angular 2.X
• Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
• 3+ years' experience with web services development - SOAP/REST
• 3+ years' experience of UI development
• Experience writing automated unit tests
• Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
• Experience working on an Agile Team
• Willingness and ability to support and mentor other team members

Candidates must be local to the Asburn, VA. Our team works 100% remote at present. Must be able to work onsite occasionally - in Ashburn, VA.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Qualifications:Minimum of five (5) years' experience

• Minimum Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Clearance/Suitability/Citizenship
• Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (Interim or Final) needed to start
• U.S. Citizenship required
