As a PeopleSoft HCM Programmer Analyst, you will work with integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment.Job Description
We are looking for a PeopleSoft HCM Programmer Analyst with expert understanding of the PeopleSoft hiring processes as well as experience with the PeopleSoft suite of development products (Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, SQL etc.) and familiarity with all phases of the SDLC. This position will be full-time and onsite.
What Youll Do
Designing, implementing and testing HCM application involving new features and functionality from functional requirements
Maintenance, support, design, development, and implementation of HCM application
Developing and maintaining applications and modules related to employee on-boarding
Database design in Oracle, SQL and formulating advanced SQL queries
Developing new and maintaining existing Database ETL processes and reports
Good communication skills, ability to work independently and in team environment, and communicate with clients
Strong time management and multitasking skills; ability to handle changes in business requirements and set priorities across multiple projects
The candidate will participate in systems analysis, application architecture, systems design and development, database design, and applications programming
What You'll Need
Required:
Proficient with PeopleSoft development suite - Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc.
Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft on-boarding processes
Advanced PeopleCode experience
Experience with Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS
Experience selectively adopting bug fixes and new features from PUM Images
Experience reducing customizations by use of Event Mapping and Drop Zones
Advanced SQL experience on an Oracle database
Strong understanding of SDLC
Familiar with various design, architectural patterns, and HCM frameworks
Ability to write clean, readable, modular, scalable and easily maintainable code with proper technical documentation
Understanding of code versioning tools
Troubleshooting, analytical skills and excellent communication skills
Experience integrating 3rd party recruiting systems into a PeopleSoft environment
Information Management, Computer Science, or any closely related field with at least 5 years working experience using PeopleSoft, SQL and SQR
An equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
