    PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

    ISO Poly Films, a manufacturer of blown film products, is looking for an experienced Technician for our Maintenance Department.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Safely inspect, troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment - following OSHA regulations and standard practices.
    • Perform routine mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance and repairs
    • Wear standard safety gear (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair nets, etc.) for daily activities and special PPE (arc flash protective equipment) as needed.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision & recognize and react to priority changes.
    • Work some overtime or different shifts occasionally.
    • Must be able to work all shifts.

    Minimum Job Qualifications :
    • Two Year Associate degree or equivalent technical education.
    • Able to troubleshoot and repair pumps, blowers, idler rollers, air compressors, belt, gear, and chain driven gearboxes and equipment.
    • Proper lubrication of bearings and gearboxes.
    • Experience with rigging and moving heavy equipment and components.
    • Install, troubleshoot and repair various types of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to understand and use various electrical schematics and technical documents.
    • Proficient with common test equipment such as multimeters, signal generators, etc.
    • Ability to troubleshoot, adjust and repair AC and DC drive systems.
    • Troubleshoot & repair various types of instrumentation control loop wiring.
    • Must understand the common types of electronic sensors for position, flow & pressure.
    • Willingness to learn new / unique equipment and processes
    • Help organize and maintain spare parts inventory.
    • Must have safe work habits and a good attendance record.
    • Must tolerate working in noisy and / or hot environments and lifting occasional heavy loads.
    • Must be self-motivated with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

    Special Consideration Given For :
    • Ability to understand, analyze and troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic.
    • Experience with multiple brands of PLCs, preferably Siemens and Allen-Bradley
    • Experience with multiple brands of large HP AC frequency drives
    • Experience with extrusion and web handling
    • An Oregon or Washington electrical license is a plus.
