  • Job Description

    The Business Insights and Analytics Manager is part of Commercial Operations Italy, and will be responsible for researching and understanding market conditions to help support the development of commercial strategy and Business operations decisions. The successful candidate will gather data on external competitors and analyse strategies, prices, sales, and method of operation. Part of the role will be to perform internal analysis in the areas of products, pricing, sales coverage, market size, penetration, competitor assessments, marketing practices and trends. The BIAM will prepare forecasts and recommendations, and maintain market study data, measuring high-level trends, and sharing the results to inform marketing strategy. Including in this role will be to manage the Digital KPIs Dashboards to provide robust background to Digital Strategies implementation

    Responsibilities include

    • Contribute to development of National and Regional market trend reports leveraging on innovative business analytics tools to analyse and advise on complex business problems and issues.
    • Gathers and analyses internal and external data on products, pricing, market size, penetration, competitor assessments, marketing practices and trends
    • Supports Head of Marketing in the Business Planning process and provides ongoing commercial input/recommendations to maximize market potential.
    • Support development of innovative business analytics tools to analyse and advise on complex business problems.
    • Conducting Market Research supports HoM in understanding market conditions, providing commercial input to in country strategic plans and understanding trends & requirements for current and future products
    • Produce and help interpret key business data sets from the market.
    • Develop and deploy dashboards to collect data-backed insights.
    • Leverage the data analysis process to advance company's business goals, namely for the preparation of situational analysis and key market insights for business reviews, budgeting purposes and Long-Range Planning process.
    • Support product Life Cycle Management from strategic planning to tactical activities
    • Ensures data integrity via operational excellence, alignment, and consistency of all strategic information
    • Analyses National and Regional data and recommendations to provide qualitative information about market trends at both Country and local level, providing insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements
    • Support deployment and maintenance of customized CRM to streamline marketing and field activities
    • Analyse CLS Seqirus DB and Universe of potential Stakeholders to provide guidance and improve efficiency in our Brand Communication
    • Point of reference for our CRM, assists team in improving processes and developing new solutions
    • Perform ad hoc analysis of market data and sales performance, as needed
    • Support HoM in Business Intelligence strategies, including quantitative analysis, making appropriate recommendations, as needed
    • Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making including working with global teams.
    • Supports the Head of Marketing in developing the Digital KPI Dashboard and provides the XFT with in-depth analysis of digital ecosystem trends, including key competitors
    • Responsible for gathering and analysing data coming from our owned digital platforms.
    • Responsible for reporting KPI of our omnichannel activities

    Skills Experience and qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in business, science or related field;
    • Pharmaceutical or biotech experience required, preferably in vaccines
    • Strong expertise in business analytics tools such as Power BI and excel
    • Fluent in English and Italian language verbal and written
    • 5+ years' experience with data management, analysis, and reporting
    • Fluent English and Italian; both oral and written
