This 12+ bed critical access facility is smaller, but is a part of a larger healthcare organization in the state of New Hampshire, offering room for career growth. This medical center provides a range of services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: 24/7 emergency care, ambulatory nursing services, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, general medical surgical inpatient care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, diagnostic imaging services, and a state-of-the-art laboratory. The Evening Medical Surgical Charge RN will be responsible for providing hands-on patient care, in addition to leading the Med-Surg team of RNs, techs, and CNAs on this busy inpatient unit. The Charge RN of Med-Surg will coordinate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing for the unit, and will report directly to the Med-Surg Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The Medical Surgical Charge Nurse will provide their strong hands-on leadership skills, stepping in to assist with patient care as needed. The Evening Charge RN will also be responsible for coordinating patient flow between the med-surg unit and other units, working closely with the House Supervisor to ensure appropriate patient placement.
