    Position Summary: Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the CRNA delivers anesthesia consistent with the policies, procedures and regulations of the acute care practice setting during the perioperative period.

    JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintains current license, certifications and/or competencies as required.
    • Insures that patient and/or associate information is protected from unauthorized disclosure.

    • Insures that patient and/or associate information is protected from unauthorized disclosure.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of Patients rights and responsibilities.
    • Demonstrates and utilizes hospital wide and unit specific policies and procedures.
    • Adheres to all department and Medical Center safety policies and procedures following Just Culture Principles. Recognizes individual responsibilities, reporting procedures, and chain of escalation during a safety event, as outlined in the Just Culture Policy.

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training & Travel Requirements

    • Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
    • Prefer 3-5 years of clinical experience.
    • Current South Carolina RN license.
    • Current Official recognition as a CRNA in the state of South Carolina.
