A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in northern New Jersey that is currently searching for multiple experienced Nurse Practitioner Department of Medicine to join theirhealthcareteam.

This newly remodeled facility utilizes the latest technologies to provide a world class standard of care. This facility is regionally known as one of the largesthealthcareproviders in the area and is proud to care for nearly 20,000 admissions and 85,000 emergency room visits each year.

The Nurse Practitioner will join the Department of Medicine and provide medical care and treatment to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units. The Nurse Practitioner will take detailed patient histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, identify patients illnesses and health needs, prescribe medication or other forms of treatment, refers patients to specialists for consultations, and assists with discharge planning. This is shift-based schedule with seven 10-hour shifts per pay period, and one 10-hour shift devoted to administrative time.

Requirements Include:

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed asan APRN in the state of New Jersey
• Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry experience preferred
