Cash Room Manager / Admin Assistant
FULL-TIME
$17.36/hr
Works closely with the Front-End Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager, and the Branch Manager to ensure efficient operation of the Cash Room. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of Cash Room-related transactions. Follows up and maintains managers aware of discrepancies, debits, and bad checks. Responsible for distribution of cash when registers are opened and collection when closed. Performs Human Resources Related duties at the administrative level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas: payroll, benefits, employee relations, new hire orientation, employment, labor relations, workers compensation, unemployment, and leave administration.
Essential functions:

1. Ensuring friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
2. Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
3. Ensuring Cash Room and key box are always locked, and money is kept always secured.
4. Maintaining records of monetary transactions such as safe counts, toll vouchers, coupons, returned checks, coin orders, petty cash, IOUs, and key inventory.
5. Ensuring each business day is properly closed and balanced
6. Following the proper procedure for armored car pick-ups.
7. Entering data such as returned check fees into proprietary software
8. Reviewing bank website daily in order to review bad checks and debits (cash or check shortages)
9. Review weekly e-mails from the bank concerning credit inquiries.
10. Cashing out cashiers at end of each shift, maintaining records of discrepancies, and issuing corrective consultations for discrepancies above policy tolerance.
11. Maintaining employee break sheets.
12. Processing New Hires: administers in-house drug tests (where permitted by law); verify accuracy of Social Security Information for payroll, provides new hire orientation, and submits required documents to Human Resources/Payroll.
13. Assists in the processing of payroll, by ensuring all entries for the Branch are complete and accurate and by submitting completed time records and Personnel Action Forms with any changes in the rate of pay, address, direct deposit, or employment status to the Corporate Payroll Department.
14. Reporting customer and/or work-related injuries/illnesses to the insurance carriers and assisting Corporate in the resolution of the claims.
15. Maintaining OSHA Records
16. Managing Leaves of Absence for employees
17. Working as a liaison between employees and Corporate Human Resources.
18. Assisting employees in completing and submitting changes and new enrollments into Benefit Plans.
19. Partners with employees and management to maintain compliance and communicate various Human Resources policies and procedures.
ScheduleShift start: 6:00AM or 8:00AM
Shift length: 8 hours
Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required
