Experience:

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Postpartum experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license prior to placement start.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Staff from WC float to L&D during the PM shift.

Type of equipment - pyxis machine,welch allyn BP machine, fetal monitor for ante partum pts

EMR meditech and CPN

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Postpartum care, Postoperative surgical care for c sections and gyne cases

Care for stable antepartum, non stress test.

Floating Area(s):
L&D, NBN

Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue

Weekends and On call(if any)

Every other weekend

Maximum days off: 10 days

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
