Retail Housekeeping
Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the HomeStore showroom and service areas so that each guest can have an exceptional HomeStore experience. The Housekeeper is accountable for providing outstanding service and maintaining the showroom appearance to aid in the achievement of Ashley HomeStore sales volume and financial objectives. Overall, the Housekeeper contributes to the Ashley high performance culture by modeling our core values and engaging in sales activities that keep the Ashley brand as the #1 home furnishings market leader in style, selection, quality, and value.
Hourly Pay: 11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Cleans the glass at the front doors.
- Wipes down glass tops and mirrors.
- Vacuums carpets and mops tile areas.
- Cleans heel marks on wood or painted surfaces.
- Cleans the restroom stalls and scrubs commodes.
- Restocks bathroom paper products.
- Wipes down countertops, tables, and sinks in restrooms and break room.
- Cleans out the refrigerator.
- Empties trash cans and replaces liners.
- Dusts all furniture surfaces, lamp shades and cabinet interiors.
- Cleans areas behind the rug racks.
- Makes regular inspections of entry, service and restroom areas for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reports any needed repairs (e.g., leaky faucets, loose tiles, etc.) To store manager.
- Adheres to AGRs safety procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrates the companys core and growth values in performance of all job functions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the US, Required
- At least 18 years old, Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
- Ability to regularly lift over 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to transport loads of 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Holidays
