    Position Details:

    Hartford HealthCare is seeking a full-time, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a multi-provider, primary care practice seeing patients of all ages from birth and up in the Hartford suburb of Windsor, CT.

    Role: Open to Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

    Location: Windsor, CT

    Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care Family Medicine (birth and up)

    Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only, ask about a 4-day work week option!

    Call schedule: No Call required

    Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:

    Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s), Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.

    In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.

    Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the providers practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.

      Qualifications

      Requirements:

      • Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
      • Training: APRN (Family Nurse Practitioner) or PA
      • Experience: At least two years of post-graduate experience as a Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or Physician Assistants (PA)
