    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.     What you will do in this role:

    • You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
    • You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
    • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
    • You will release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
    • You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
    • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

    What qualifications you will need:
    • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    • Vocational School Graduate
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
    • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.

    • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.

    This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
