ThisIntensive Care Assistant RN Manager will assist in overseeing the SurgicalICUand itsservices and will report directly to the NurseManager of SICU and InterventionalRadiology. Responsibilities for this position include maintaining and promoting communication among all members of interdisciplinary teams, patients, and visitors, implementing hospital policy and procedures, overseeing operation and management of the assigned units in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and Nurse Director, as well as ensuring highest standard of care and patient satisfaction are consistently met and upheld. This RN Manager SICU will oversee Charge RN's, RN Staff, and other ancillary staff to ensure that care and daily tasks run smoothly and efficiently.

It is important that this Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care has previous clinical experience inICUas well as previous nursing leadership experience (Lead RN, Charge RN, Supervisor, etc.). It is also required that this RN have theirBSNand an active RN license in the state of NY. A masters degree is not required, but is preferred.
