Sodexois looking for aHuman Resources Managerto join our Workplace Experience/Facilities Management team. TheHR Manager will be responsible for all HR duties for a segment of employees to include onboarding and orientation for new hires, employee engagement, employee relations, HR policies, and more. These employees work onsite with our client, so travelling to these sites will be important. The HR Manager reports to the HR Leader for this account.
The ideal candidate is a team player with attention to detail, strong listening skills, and the ability to support multiple HR priorities. The role requires forward thinking, ability to pivot, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages HR function for a specific segment of onsite Sodexo client teams, including hourly recruitment, policies and procedures, onboarding, off-boarding, training, general leave of absence, and employee records
- Assist hiring managers with all aspects of the new hire process
- Guides new hires to the right subject matter experts for benefits, payroll, timekeeping, etc
- Works with all levels of the business, including frontlineemployees, supervisors, mid-level managers, and directors
- Supports the talent acquisition process with our recruiting team to ensure positions are approved, posted, and sourced to find the best candidates at all levels
- Supports managers with employee relations concernsunder the guidance of the HR Leader
- Assists management in planning, developing, and implementing HR activities
- Balances the needs of employees and management with relation to employee performance and policy alignment
Required Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Manufacturing environment with union exposure
- Hourly recruitment
- Employee relations/counseling
- Onboarding
- Maintenance of employee records
