    Assembly Associate

    Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking anAssembly Associate. This role is responsible for utilizing simple hand and power tools to assemble, manufacture, disassemble, repair, sort, and inspect small soap-dispensing units and larger sub-assembly machines.

    What You Will Do:

    • Assembles light mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic components to exact specifications
    • Performs simple hydraulic and electrical checks to ensure the proper function of assembled equipment
    • Performs assigned re-manufacturing operations including disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, polishing, inspection and re-assembly
    • Works from process and specifications sheets
    • Accurately processes necessary paperwork related to labor reporting and record keeping
    • Utilizes TPM tools improve safety, efficiency, increase service to our customers and reduce cost
    • Proactively communicates maintenance needs, quality issues or other situations that impact safety, quality or productivity to the appropriate leader
    • Ensures constant communication with management on daily activities and losses
    • Assists in training teammates
    • Other duties as assigned

    Position Details:

    • Plant location: Roscoe, IL
    • Work week and shift: Monday - Thursday 6am-4pm, 10-hour days
    • Compensation package offered: $17.50/hr.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Must have basic math ability
    • Experience using hand and power tools
    • Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
    • Must be able to stand upwards of 10 hours
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Collaborative and team-orientated
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Good time-management and communication skills
