Experience:

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a New York license in hand at the time of application.

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

RTO MUST be included at the time of submission.

Shift: 36 Guaranteed Hours

Must have recent experience in MS/tele that takes post-surgical/ cath lab patients.

Primarily receives CHF patients, acute MIs post device care.

Patient type: CHF, Acute MIs, arrhythmias, acute MIs post device care (pacemakers, AICDs, post PTCIs) coming from Cath Lab. NO A-lines and arterial sheaths but can take temporary external pacemakers.
Unit is staffed for acute intermediate care for cardiac patients and general medical patients.

Maximum days off: 7 days
