    Program Manager

    GDIT is seeking a Program Manager to help support our JSP ETM-NG program. This is a HYBRID position, requiring the employee to report onsite a couple days a week at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

    The Program Manager (PM)'s responsibility includes, but it not limited to, infrastructure operations and engineering, network services, on-prem and cloud hosting, & cyber security. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects and will serve as the primary liaison between GDIT and Government Leadership. The PM will also be responsible for program execution and performance, staff development, contract management, financial management, and risk management. Finally, the PM will be required to support the growth of the solution/service by attending conferences, technical expositions, roadshows, etc. and by capitalizing on organic growth opportunities on the contract.

    HOW A PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
    • Responsible for contract compliance and team management
    • Requires ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
    • Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget management
    • Responsible for all contract deliverables
    • Maintain project documentation and ensure status, risks and issues are kept up to date for project
    • Proactively keep assigned Government product owner informed
    • Oversees all work and takes corrective action as necessary to ensure success of assigned tasks
    • May serve as technical lead for assigned tasks or customer portfolio
    • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management
    • Reviews future project requirements and develops strategies for future work
    • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload
    • Attends customer meetings and serves as primary client liaison for project execution
    • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client
    • Coordinates development of deliverables and products
    • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables
    • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
    • Participates in special projects as required


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
    • Citizenship: US Citizen
    • Clearance: Active Secret
    • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in a related business or technical discipline
    • Year's Experience: Minimum 5 years of related military experience
    • Technical Skills:
      • Project Management experience
      • Supervisory experience
      • Cyber Security implementation experience
    • Skills and Abilities: Customer Relationship Management; Contract Management
    • Location: HYBRID - must report onsite in Arlington, VA several days a week.


    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - DESIRED:
    • Technical Skills:
      • Department of Defense (DoD) Project Management
      • Strong understanding of Cyber Security as relates to ICAM
      • Skilled with MS Office products to include MS Project
    • Skills and Abilities:
      • Comfortable communicating with all levels of Government
      • Experienced with managing complex schedules for multiple initiatives concurrently
